Sincere apologies for this forum being closed for over a year, this was because of a prolonged bombardment of spammers from as far afield as China and Russia, many forums were subjected to the spammers and to counteract the low-life that ruined the board, new security features had to be implemented and updated software, hopefully this as put an end to the morons and their bots for good.

This message board is open now to members who wish to apply for membership by email only.

It is rarely used at the moment as it is without an administrator, but when one is found, the board will be back on track and the forum will reopen as normal.

Anyone interested in running the messageboard as a volunteer please contact admin with your details.

The board is now open for registration, new members will be moderated on their first posts. This is to stop spammers gaining membership and posting unheeded.

There will be a delay when registering for membership and being able to use the board, this is because of the need to verify your email address. The verification is often completed within minutes but because of the high volume of spammers infesting the cyber world nowadays the verification can take a while longer.

This is a new version of the message board and will be subject to short periods of downtime while new security measures are implemented, enabling new users to begin posting immediately after registration. I will post any new developments occurring as they happen.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Note: In loading the new version, many threads and posts were lost in the transfering of the database, if I can get them back I will do, it is looking unlikely at the moment though. Also some log-in problems have been encountered if you have a problem please send an email and I will try and resolve any issues.

This forum is still under construction. Although it is functional and working as a message board and Blog Site, there is much work to be done to utilise all the features.

Styling and organisation of the Homepage is the most difficult as each entry has to be applied in the administration section, this means that to move an article it has to be done away from the main board.

Since it's release and my subsequent purchase of this site there have been three patches or upgrades adding bug fixes and further installations, this is making it difficult to stylise as all the styling features have yet to be made accessible.

Over the coming weeks, time permitting, I will more than likely make the home page an instruction page for such things as adding videos and images, customizing the site to your liking.

The features of the site will be changing as well, most content on here is very old. I closed the forum for over a year and most of the users departed during that period. Hopefully when all the work on the site is completed then a new user group will emerge. Nevertheless please join the forum and offer your contribution as members are needed to make this forum work.

It was implemented as a community forum mainly for people in North West London but it is now an open for anyone wishing to take part. Thank you for visiting the Today's London Forum and I do hope you stay.
